Sometimes - just sometimes - you can tell when a company really doesn’t get social. I mean at all. Case in point: those who slap share buttons all over the place and just call it a day.
Like the Miles & More folks here who seem convinced that sharing their Contact Us form is somehow compelling to anyone. To make matters worse, their widget contains buttons to long dead properties. Yeah, I’m gonna share to MySpace, sure. And who the hell is Mr. Wong anyway?
I know. Nobody gives a hoot. Couldn’t matter less. But sometimes, I see this stuff and just find it insulting. Somewhere out there is somebody who absolutely positively doesn’t give a s**t. And that offends me as a social media person :)
